Lemon Ginger Cran. The Holistic Healing Drink!
Last week, we spoke on the importance of preparing and handling yourself with care, especially prior then and during the cold and flu season.
This week, we want to provide you with a remedy in the form of a recipe that is helpful in ridding the body of concerns and issues brought on by not having a strong enough immune system to fight off the cold & flu. This holistic concoction can be sipped in either hot or cold temperatures; to obtain the best results; mix it up, have it hot in the morning and cold for lunch and then warm before going to bed to soothe your stomach and break-up congestion while relaxing the body. This is one holistic solution you will not want to be caught without once trying, we guarantee it.

What’s Needed for the Lemon Ginger Cranberry Holistic Remedy {64oz}
Ingredients
Organic Lemons (3 to 4)
Organic Orange (1)
Whole Ginger (3 to 4)
Cranberries Frozen (1 bag/32oz.)
Cinnamon (1 Tablespoon)
Garlic (1) (Optional)
*(No Sugar Needed) If you must use a sweetener, use maple syrup and use it to make the cranberry sauce or (1) cup of organic sugar for just the cranberry sauce. No sugar is needed for the Holistic Remedy Drink for it will take
Rinse cranberries add to pot with boiling water. Rinse, peel and add ginger to the pot of water and cranberries and allow everything to boil until cranberries are all popped. Turn off stove and stir with a wooden spoon, add the cinnamon and squeeze (1) entire orange into the pot and let simmer for about 10 to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes squeeze (2.5) lemons into the pot and stir and let sit or pour your first cup of hot lemon ginger cran. Use the remainder (1.5) lemons for colder drinks once everything is cooled down and/or to garnish. The garlic is optional if you are feeling really under the weather, it helps with dissolving bacteria and with all the other ingredients the garlic taste is barely detectable. If you decide to use the garlic put it in your individual hot tea just in case others don’t appreciate it.
Conclusion
Just because it is called cold and flu season does not mean you are entitled to participating in it by falling sick. Build your system up to avoid catching a cold, however, if you do find yourself coming down with something this holistic recipe will have you up and running in tip top shape in no time. Do note this drink is cleansing for your overall system; especially your lungs, kidneys, liver, GI & urinary tract and colon; it will break-up film and break-down all types of viruses and offer up a whole lot of vitamin C.
